MediaRing Talk 99 THE CONNECTION PROCESS

Animated Connection Process

1. MediaRing Talk 99 uses the modem to dial the called party. This is only to generate ring tones.
   The called party must be running MediaRing
   Talk 99 to listen for these tones. (See animation on left)
2. MediaRing Talk 99 logs the called party on to the Internet.
3. MediaRing Talk 99 registers the called party's phone number on our private directory server, the Gatekeeper.
4. MediaRing Talk logs the caller on to the Internet as well, and searches for the called party's phone number.
5. An Internet connection is then made.
